Privacy
Short version: no cookies, and a simple, privacy-friendly visit counter.
- Visit counts. We use GoatCounter to count page views. It sets no cookies and doesn’t track you across sites. It records things like the page visited, the referring site, browser type, screen size and country, but not who you are.
- No adverts, no tracking pixels, no fonts from elsewhere. Apart from the GoatCounter script, everything loads from this site.
- The quiz runs entirely in your browser. Scores aren’t stored or sent anywhere.
- Our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
- Affiliate links. Some links on the bug hunting page go to Amazon UK with our associate tag. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you click one, Amazon may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We don’t see who you are or what you buy.
- Links to other sites (sources, the ReallyByte shop on Etsy, WhatsApp) are governed by their own policies.
